airfare for may expensive!!!

trying to pull a quick one for 1 may till 7 may (btw is this a good time to go?)

i have been looking around for airfare and the cheapest i found was 477 tax in rt from portland. i find that expensive. anybody else going that time that found cheaper airfare, let me know.

Check JetBlue as the previous poster noted.. I just checked their site for your dates and yes infact, 198$ return taxes in for direct flights.

also check AirTrans.com. They too have direct flights from Portland.

I just booked (yesterday) a direct return from Portland for June for 217$.

If you are referring to Portland, MAINE...
we are also going at the beginning of May and booked direct flights with Southwest out of Manchester, NH when they first released those dates.... for $89 each way. It ended up being $199 return / each (all taxes included).
Keep trying Portland, Bangor and Manchester...
the prices seem to be dipping! Don't give up yet!
