Airfare for June 2007?

I just booked our June 2007 trip ! My question is when should I start looking for airfare? We booked through dreamsunlimited so they don't do air. Is it too early now? Also what is the best way to get a good price? Thanks.

I watched the airline websites for a few weeks and used Sidestep.com to keep an eye on things and then just booked when I was comfortable with a price. We are going next May and I booked at 330 days out. Since then my flights have gone up $60 each.

I am going in June also. I booked my flight with Delta but I had a credit with them that I had to use. I figured the airfare was only going to go up especially with the way the price of gas is going. If it goes down, I'll try to get a credit for the difference. It was a gamble but one I am comfortable with.
