Airfare Discounts in January

Hopefully we will be planning a last minute trip in January. Right now airfare is a little higher than we wanted to pay. Has anyone heard anything about a possible sale for flights in January?

I've been waiting too...last year I scored $100 RT from Baltimore to MCO. This year I haven't seen anything less than $140.

Yesterday the fares for our dates on Southwest were $212/pp, today $145! Maybe they're starting to come out.

I'm waiting too! Last year out of Washington was $100. I went in November and it was $131, which was pretty good. It the air lines want me to fly, I better see some deals soon. Hopefully after the holidays.

I am also waiting. Last year I believe they went down the first week in December. Sometime around the 5th.

The cheap airfares I have seen have always been on days I didn't want to travel -- weekday to weekday.
I bought non-stop to MCO with Midwest Express. A little higher than most airlines -- but worth it! We are paying just slightly more for this January flight than we paid for Delta last January.
