OK so I'm looking into traveling into Fl in Feb. I found a price of 94 dollars to Fll and another flight to Tampa that stops into Fll for 74 dollars. My question is do I need to get on that flight to Tampa or can I just get off in Fll and start my vacation there? Thanks

Dependning on the airline they may void your return ticket if you don't complete the trip to the final destination.

You may have a problem checking luggage to FLL. You'll have an expensive problem if Spirit changes your flight to Tampa to either a N/S or a different connecting city. Spirit uses FLL as a hub, I don't think this is probable but you'll be stuck if that happens.

PP is right, many airlines will cancel your return reservation. I wouldn't even think of following your strategy ("hidden city") with a round trip ticket. Preferably with a different airline but at least two one way tickets with Spirit. Southwest is one of the few airlines that allows passengers to use hidden city strategy when booking.

Thanks for all your answers. You really helped me.:goodvibes
