Has anyone used AirTran? Do they have tv's on their planes. I'm afraid DH will be a little antsy if there isn't.

Consider buying a portable DVD player and have the battery good and charged before the flight. This will do the trick, plus he can be in total control of what he watches.

A quick search of their website would have told you that they have XM Satelitte radio as their main entertainment source. http://www.airtran.com/inflight_entertainment.aspx

I second the portable dvd player. I use my laptop and the flight goes so much quicker....

They have never offered headsets on any of the Airtran flights I was on. We always use our DVD. Love it.

It has been reported here that if you ask, you can get headphones for free on Airtran OR the headphones you bring to use with a portable device such as a mp3 player or dvd player should also work onboard.
