Air Tran Opened up Schedule for Spring Break

Thanks. I was excited to see the schedule open, but pricing is not really great. I may wait for SW.

I have been waiting as I am trying to book 45 baseball players and parents to MCO for spring training. They paid $330 each last year, so the $277 doesn't seem too bad. The b-ball coach is on the phone with them right now... hopefully they will take care of him since he will be filling up 1/3 of their plane with one transaction......

I am sure he would be very happy with $225-250.........

No bargain at Airtran, It's costing us $400 pp from BOS to MCO week of 4/14, leaving a day earlier would cost even more. Booked it anyway as I can't take this stress anymore and we don't want to drive to Southwest.

I checked rates at Airtran for April 19-23. The fares started at $176 each way from Bloomington, IL! I've gotten them as low as $79 each way, so I'll sit tight!

Even though it's early, I decided to buy my plane ticket for April 19-24 on American Airlines from my home airport to Orlando. The fare was good for here - $227.80 - and the best I would've gotten on Airtran from BMI an hour away would've been $30 less - based on past sales. Better flight times on AA than Airtran, too.

I booked group tickets for the varsity softball team spring training in Orlando trip. I was lucky to get 2 non stop flights and a price of $245 that I thought was reasonable for Easter week!! I don't think we are going to see a lot of cheap flights since the gas crisis and it seems like a lot more people are traveling again. Another nice feature with the group seats is you don't have to supply the names of the passengers until 1 month before.

I just found out the varsity baseball team is flying for $239 all included. A little higher than I would want to pay as an individual, but $100 per player cheaper than they paid two years ago..... the baseball coach is very pleased!
