I've started looking at the airfares for our February trip. Not good. Most of the good deals run until early January. Jet Blue has some good deals, but travel has to be completed by 2/12. 2/12 would be about the earliest we could leave.
Does anyone know if the airlines historically run deals from the northeast to Orlando in February and when those deals usually start? Is February a peak time to travel? I thought only some schools in the northeast have a midwinter vacation.
I'm rambling on. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

. I've been watching airfare for months, checking at least 3 airports in this area, and the prices have no rhyme or reason. It's gone from $139, restrictions too much to deal with, to $345, since we're coming back the day after President's Day. I finally took the plunge and booked AirTrans, like I had originally planned before I thought I might get a better deal elsewhere. I got 4 r/t tickets from Akron-Canton (30 minutes from my house), no layovers, 7:20am departure and 10:10pm return. $821 for 4 of us. Although I would've liked to have found flights for less, I'm so relieved that it's done that I feel like I got a good deal! Hang in there and grab those tickets when it's a price you can live with!
, our airline situation is the worst.
We don't even have any direct flights to Orlando anymore.
