Air Sick Bags on Mission Space

We are presently at WDW and have ridden Mission Space the past 2 days. On 12/16/03 (AM time), they did not have barf bags. However, in the evening the bags were installed. On 12/17/03, the bags were gone, even the bag holders were missing.

I love the ride, even my 10 year old DD loves it. My DW did get a sore stomach, but we just went to ice station cool, got her some soda (ginger ale) to settle her stomach.

This ride is going to effect everybody on a different level. I have riden it probably 6 times. 2 of the 6 times I was OK after. 2 other times I felt like DocR said...blah all day....and the other 2 times I wanted to lay down and DIE!!!!

Only way to find out is to get on and ride. It is kinda funny that the 1st people you see when coming out of the pods are custodial folks with mops and buckets standing there.

At least now you got something to toss your cookies into instead of using your neighbor!!

I felt really sick for two hours after riding it. DH and the kids did fine. I met a woman there who said the same thing...two hours.

After we rode it, we went to World Showcase, and went on the River del Tiempo ride in Mexico...the one with the boats, like "It's a Small World." I was so nauseous from Mission: Space that every little movement of that little boat made me feel like I was gonna heave! And at the end, when the boats back up, every time another boat bumped into the line of boats...ugh! I was afraid I was going to be the first, and only, person to ever get sick on River del Tiempo! LOL

BTW...DH said he read an article stating that different seats give you a different sensation, ie, "The Navigator" seat gets a different feel than one of the other seats. ??
