Nothing like what it costs to get them to eighteen years old and then through college. And that was back in the olden days. Today, s ex is way more expensive then it once was. A factor that most young folk do not take into consideration at the time.

Anyone remember those baby carriages/buggies going back 40yrs ago with a spring loaded full suspension system? Heavy.... this was how they kid's got smooth rides before inflatable tires were introduced. No cup holders! They don't look collapsible.... and minivan's were not introduced. No idea how these carriages got taken out of the house.

Being an old fart, I remember these baby carriages quite well. Ours was stored on the porch & rolled outside to use. If you needed to take it somewhere, it fit in the enormous trunk most cars had. Actually quite easy.

As a side note, we rented strollers for our DGDs from "Magic Strollers" last June. I can't tell you the make or model, but these strollers were great! The build quality was substantial, they were easy to collapse to put in the car and on trams, and the wheels practically glided across the parks. They will deliver to your resort and come by to pick them up when you leave. Just thought I'd throw that out there as transporting strollers can be cumbersome.

Last summer I needed one. Found a free one and help at the Contemporary. The baggage guys at most resorts had one. They let me use theirs for a few minutes for free and off we went....Threw a couple tip dollars at them and had a great tire pressure kind of week.

We had low air in our stroller tires and the nice staff at the stroller barn at AK let us borrow their air compressor.
