AIR problem SOLVED!!

yeahhhh!! Thanks to all who helped me w my airfaire problem...solution?? Who knew I could get it CHEAP, I MEAN CHEAP thru DISNEY themselves!!!! They have AF for my dates for 900 for ALL FIVE OF US!!!! That is less than 200 pp!!!!!!!!!!!! The absolute bottom price I have ever found online anywhere was Allegient and they flew to Sanford...which I couldn't do for 1100...HIP HIP HOOOORAY for DISNEY and their UNPUBLISHED fair!!! Moral of this story: check every angle, sometimes the route you think will be the cheapest will cost you more in the long run and the place you thought would be sky high can actually SAVE money!! I am so happy...off to the Poly to play with the mouse....hooorrray!!

Actually funny thing you should ask...I called a CM today to actually check the cost of downgrading to POR which I decided against...and she asked me if I would like air...I said YES of course we want AIR conditioning in our room!!!!!!! DUHHH I am sooo blonde, anyway she said NO AIRFAIRE MAM!! I said well sure I guess so anyway she says we can get you a fare for 945 total AND I WENT THRU THE ROOF!!! You don't understand how CHEAP that is from Des Moines Iowa...about a 500 dollar savings!! I wonder how much lower from KC or Omaha...but oh well...the next thing I know my TA is calling me saying she has a quote from Disney on air for me, well i was kinda miffed at thise because last time she was just quoting me from Travelocity or Expedia, she never mentioned I could go thru Disney to possibly save money. I kinda expected her to check all routes for me...so anyway I just told her to add it on to my pkg today so I would not loose that price! Next time I will probably go thru Disney myself, I am really a take charge kinda girl anyway...

I know, isnt' that amazing!? I have tried to spread the word on other threads as well... we looked everywhere, and - like you - ended up booking with WDW travel for under $200! I'm glad you found them!

Do you know if I can book airfare for our friends who are joining us at WDW, but we are not traveling with them--both rooms are in my name, and we are arriving three days before they are. I am really trying to find them a great rate for air from Nashville, but it is hard, there is not much competition there--only Delta or SWA.
I guess what I need to know is: Will Disney book their air? Our rooms were already reserved "Room Only".

I checked at rate from Nashville because that is where my family is from, I found fare for 159 rt on Priceline or Hotwire, one of those for end sept...also check SW airlines they fly from Nashville to Orlando don't they? You should be able to find ok fare from Nash to Or...I will check for you...here is a website I went to and found good deals:

woops sorry I did not answer your questions! No I do not think they will book their air unless they are under a package with you...ie I think this is for the MYW package and not just room rates but you could always ask the CM on the other line if this is a possibility! Good luck

it is a package price with Disney thru my TA!! However, Disney is offering it directly you should check it out! We are in Johnston, a family member of mine lives in Pleasantvile and a friend I have works at the VA in Knoxville!! How cool to meet another Iowan on the Dis I bet we are a rareity!! Check the plane prices thru Disney I got mine for 190 pp!! HOOORAY THAT IS CHEAP online they were going for 277!!! YIKES
