Hi All

I need help. I remember when I went to the world in 2007 that there was a tip on the board about how to bi pass the automatic shut off on the air conditioners in the room. I have looked and looked and cant find it lol. Does anyone remember where it was or what the tip is...Please get back I am leaving in a month lol.

Thanks in advance.

Just got back a few weeks ago. The auto shut off feature was not active while we were there. We set the temp and the room was cool 24/7.

Hi josh!.
air conditioning in this hotel is very strong. I can not stand it. I am dying of cold. what we do is to put off the air bag tape in every corner of the air outlet clicking a pen the bag and leave until the day we're leaving. so we are more comfortable.
p.d-sorry if i don´t explain well:flower3:

Not sure if this is still valid, my last trip was January 2010:

The thermostat has two buttons on the left (ON/OFF and AUTO/FAN) and two buttons on the right (UP and DOWN)

Press the Power button and the Down Arrow at the same time. If done correctly, the letters BP should appear in the temp readout. This indicates that the thermostat is in bypass mode (bypassing the motion sensors). You can then set your desired temp and it will stay at that temp whether you're moving around or not.

You will have to do this once every day, as the thermostats automatically reset themselves to the default mode daily to save power.

(I found this info on Disboards years ago, can't quote the original source, I just have it in a list of my Disney "stuff".)
