I am sorry - I know this has been asked before, but when I did a search I couldn't find it.

For the resorts with the motion sensor air conditioning units (specifically the Poly), can someone write out the override instructions? Pretty please?

Thank you!!! :worship:

What override? We stay at the GF and the air conditioner just runs the whole night. No problem at all.

What override?

People on the DIS have reported that some resorts have motion detectors attached to the A/C. When there is no movement in the room, the A/C kicks off. When this happens in the middle of the night people have stated that the room can get pretty warm in the middle of the summer.

Again the air conditioner in our room never stopped cooling. The room is always wonderful cooled after we return late in the evening and it keeps running the whole night. Never had a problem in many years.

I didn't realise that some resorts were different. We stay at Saratoga Springs and positive the air con stays on during the night.

Does anyone know if the air conditioners at ASMU have the motion sensors?

The AC has never cut off in any of our resort rooms: Poly, CR, POR/FQ. And I like my room cold, and we have been in August.

Maybe some of us toss & turn when the room gets hot and the AC turns on again?;)

At the Poly it's definitely turned off for us on every trip. The bathroom exhaust fan is the same way.
