Air-conditioned dining - too cold?!!

I cover the food industry for a magazine; many restaurants do this to increase table turns. The cold makes you linger less and they can get more people in and out. Some restaurants play faster music to do this as well.

But also, it's dang hot in Florida -- a shady spot feels like AC to me! :teeth: They probably have to keep it cooler because the exterior doors are constantly opened and closed. Can you imagine what WDW's electric bill must be? $$$$$$$

When we go in May its hot during the day, but at night I get chilly. I usually take a hooded sweatshirt I can put on if I get cold and sometimes I wear jeans when we go out at night. We went to the movies once at PI and I was wearing shorts and my legs were so uncomfortably cold I could barely concentrate on the movie.

I found it so cold in restaurants and even colder on the disney buses that I always had to carry a thin sweater with me and even then I was so cold that I had really painful nipples! :rotfl2:

:rotfl:

Well--all I can say is that in all of the hundreds of meals we've had at WDW over many years, I never once thought any restaurant was too cold--or cold enough to warrant any sweater, etc. And we're always in shorts and short sleeve shirts.
But folks are different in how "cold" is cold, so there will be no harm in maybe carrying a very light sweater, or similar.
