OK, this is a bit OT because I am going to Vegas, not Disney, but I am hoping for some insight. I just found out on Thursday that I have a possible trip to Vegas this May with my sister. She was very lucky and was able to score Aeroplan tickets with the best possible flight plans at the lowest amount of points (25000). However, there was only one Aeroplan seat left on these particular flights that doesn't require an obscene amount of points. Naturally for me to purchase the ticket myself it is over $1000. My question is, do you think it is likely there will be a another US seat sale (there has already been one) before May, or should I bite the bullet and buy now?

Any insight would be great!

Thanks in advance!

Have you considered flying Westjet? They are having a sale right now for flights to Vegas until May 31.

I am in Fredericton, NB, and we only have two carriers, AC and Delta. Westjet does fly out of Moncton, but the flight times aren't great. As my sister and I want to fly together, I am limited to AC at this point.

My sister and her husband honeymooned in Vegas in Nov. I had found them a deal in October that they took. I think they payed $1200 for both of them to fly out of Charlottetown. I say wait a little while, something else will come up! (I hope for you!)

Air Canada is also having a sale. I know with aeroplan that there is probably no flexibility for your sister but if you show some flexibility regarding your flights you may save a lot.

I share your pain. I was lucky enough to get 5 aeroplan tkts to Disney but needed to buy the 6th. The 6th is for an adult but wanted him on the same flight as us. I could buy a tkt now for him which would be 907.00 or wait for a seatsale. I went ahead and did the sure thing and bought the ticket :scared1: at least now I know my dad will be on the same flights and will be able to sit with his grandchildren.

I'm not sure about flying from NB but flying from Toronto the flights fill up very fast and If you wait for much longer you won't get a seat at all.

Just a thought, I know it's not much fun to go on separate flights but It's an option for you. See what Delta has to offer or a different flight with AC.
