UPDATE: Fox has just issued a disclaimer about the snafu on their website. They claim it was a scripting error that automatically showed the name of the first contestant in alphabetical order. That would be Anthony. Guess we'll find out the real deal in about 40 minutes.

OK, on the Fox Idol site there's a poll asking how you feel about Con being voted off. Well if you click one of the choices, a new window opens up asking you how you feel about















ANTHONY being voted off.

Me thinks someone at Fox made a boo boo!

ETA: Fox is pulling the threads about this on the AI site nearly as fast as they're being posted. Seems to me they should be more concerned about fixing their website. What a bunch of maroons.

Whether you like him or not, he has a fanbase. Obviously, it is a big fanbase. He has been in the bottom 3 almost every week, but he does not ever have the lowest amount of votes. He may not have as many fans as Bo or Carrie, but he must have loyal fans, they call in for him every week.

I think his fanbase are little girls. 5-10 year old girls. So, yes, if he wins, I bet he will sell alot of records for Simon's record company.

I think you're right. Remember when Heather Locklear was in the AI audience with her little girl a couple weeks ago? Her daughter (who appears to be about 6) said she likes Anthony best.

I like Anthony. I think he has a great voice. He may not sing the way a lot of the current pop stars sing, but I think his voice is better than many of them.
