I would love to say someone say what was said in that thread but replace "gay" with "black" and then call themselves not a bigot.

If it didn't make me so angry it would make me sad. I'm sorry you guys (and gals) have to put up with this kind of crap.

Here's the thing that gets me...
These are the same folks who will come right out and ask us why we feel we need "Gay Days". Why can't we just go and be happy just like "everyone else"?
It's because there are actually parents who would keep their children home rather than risk having them see two women or two men holding hands in the park. That's why. And until we can get past that, we will designate special days when OUR families can come out and kick back and have an unabashed good time. Without worrying about who we might offend or what rude looks or comments we might be subjecting OUR children to...

Ummm I'm gonna jump in here for a sec.

I don't think anyone on this board has ever said anything about anyone because of their income level. Some of us travel on a budget, and some of us drop a lot of cash on our vacations. I'm pretty sure that all of us on this board only wish everyone would respect each other, as well as their surroundings, while on vacation. That's all....

I can assure you, the presidential suite is trashed just as often as the rooms over at All Star!

Yes, we are all teasing about being elitists, I'm sure. However, we tend to be pretty clear on the fact that as much as we "play" we are not bigots, nor do we let something as tawdry as money get in the way of recognizing human worth, eh?
