We start our 19 hour car ride on Thursday after work. I am so excited!!:cool1: I have been planning this trip since Jan and have gotten so many tips and advise from this site. I wanted to say thank you guys! We went to Disney in 2008 blindly. I had never been to Disney before, I had no idea about ADRs. We just ate where ever whenever. We spent so much time in lines to getautographs, that we missed a lot of the rides. Plus we only did 2 days in Disney (MK& DHS) and the rest of the week was US/IOA. I feel prepared this time. We have 4 character meals set, so not too much line waiting. I have a schedule in place of what parks we will hit on what days, no US/IOA. We are doing MK and Epcot twice to make sure we get to experience most of what we want. I'm doing it relaxed though, I'm not being all fanatic about it. I have the schedule for show times and parade times for each day, and if we see them we see them, if not oh well. next time.

Now to get past these next 3 days of work.

Have fun! I am thinking of driving from PA, saw you have a 1 year old, so do I :) How do you plan on keeping him busy?:wizard:

So jealous!!!! We have 29 days till our 19 hour drive. Good luck with the LO, I'm nervous about the drive and keeping them busy. We're hoping they will sleep lots.

Have fun!

we are hoping they sleep most of the trip since we are driving at night. I made a backpack for each of them with crayons, coloring books, snacks, and other toys. I bought the 2 youngest lap trays for the trip as well so it'll make it easier for them to play. Other than that, we'll stop for food and hopefully there'll be a play land or something in the Mcdonald's etc. where they can let off some steam.

We drive to Florida pretty often to visit family and the further south you go the more of the McDonald play zones you find, so that's definately an option. Or kids always LOVED those and they help alot on a long drive.
If you use the McDonalds restaurant locator, there is an option for putting in a route, and it will pinpoint all the restaurants with play areas. Pretty neat.

I'm completely jealous. I have 17 more days before our 16 hour drive to the World. Have a great trip and hope the drive goes well!!!
