AHHH, Now I get to take a first timer! Ideas?

Ok, so I'm a Disney VETERAN! However, I have the GREAT honor to take my best friend to WDW for his FIRST TIME EVER! He recently moved down from Ohio and is buying a Seasonal pass.

We're going Nov. 30 - Dec 5.

He's open to everything, however, he's limited on his budget so ideas should be just fun and cheap ideas.

We're staying off-site.

We're going to the MVMCP on Dec 1.

What are some fun ideas that we could do to make him completely in awe of WDW (as if he won't already be)?

This October, we're taking DD's friend who's never gone before. Some of the things we plan on doing.... riding the monorail so she can get an 'aerial' view of how big the whole place is, taking as many forms of Disney transportation as possible (boat from MGM to Boardwalk, etc.), planning some non-park time to tour the resorts and Downtown Disney. My kids also want her to see the Electrical Water Pageant so we'll probably do that from one of the beach areas.

Lunch at one of the Deluxe resorts. Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge are pretty amazing. Even just heading over to one of them for a look around is sure to impress him.

While you're in the parks, point out fun details like the talking trash cans, talking water fountains, the sparkling sidewalks near Innoventions at Epcot....that sort of detail really helps bring home the message you're not just touring some Mickey Mouse opperation (oops...wait....strike that....).

The first time I went (well, the first time I went when there were more parks than Magic Kingdom) I was so blown away by the whole experience I didn't need anything more than just the obvious stuff. I think he's going to be overwhelmed and amazed, even if you just visit the parks and ride the rides.
