I work in an industry where customer service is EVERYTHING. At my last trade show, I was at a talk about how to improve business (well, ALL the talks were about that, just on differant ways of doing it!) Anyway, something the speaker said really struck me. "Some clients are NOT worth your time or effort. You will make little or nothing off of them, and get nothing else in return. Don't be afraid to turn away THAT kind of customer!".
I'd say these families sound like "that" kind of customer. I'd tell them there is nothing to talk about, it's $95 and they can keep the proofs and not order, or order re-prints, but either way it's $95, take it or leave it.
