Ages for movie theater alone

We are traveling as a group of 10. 4 adults, kids ages 14, 12 (x2), 9, 7, 4. The 14 and 12 year olds are very responsible and even babysit at home. I know the older 3 will be able to check themselves out of the clubs and we are very comfortable with them on their own provided they stick together. If the 4 adults want to do some adult activities will the older 3 be able to take the younger 3 to a movie in the theater? We could just leave them in the room as well, but just curious about the theater.

I do not think DCL would have an issue with this, so if you are comfortable (and if 14 and 4 are interested in seeing the same movie!), let them go.

There are no age restrictions on the movie theater, except possibly for R-rated movies shown late at night. As long as the kids are well-behaved, they should be able to watch movies together with no problems.

No one checks anyone going into the theatre. You should be fine.

If you and one of your kids have phones, you can use iMessage or (I think, WhatsApp) to communicate onboard with no charges. Just leave it in airplane mode and piggyback on the DCL WiFi ( like the DCL app does). If they have issues, they can contact you.

Yes. To add on/provide clarification: If you are an all Apple family iMessage would work. I recently cruised with a friend. She had Apple and I had Android. We communicated using the DCL app. I have heard other people in a similar situation did not have good results with the DCL app in which case WhatsApp would be the best way to communicate. This assumes that the older siblings (the 14 or 12 year olds) have some type of smartphone.
