Agent P -- which country to choose?

From what I can tell about Agent P's Adventure at Epcot, you pick one country for your mission. Anyone who has played this extensively, is there a "best" country to pick out of the seven options?

My favorite is France because one of the France Missions includes getting a free, unique Agent P Pressed Penny.:)

My favorite "props" are in Germany.:)

I have researched this quite a bit. Germany is usually rated as the best Agent P adventure, but good things are usually said about all of them. Mexico is all indoors, so it is good on hot or rainy days. Norway seems to be the only one that no one has rated as their favorite. We have only done France, UK, and Germany, and enjoyed them all, with Germany being our favorite.

On a side note, we don't care about Phineas and Ferb, and there was a lot of extra setup before the actual adventure began. We learned to just skip over the setup and get straight to the clues.

I think Japan has probably been my favorite so far, although I haven't gotten through all of them yet.

When you finish your first country, it gives you an option to go on to another, so you can do as many as you have time for.

*Note: On clues that ask you to spell something, you cycle through the letters in each spot until they're in order - I kept trying to type them in by just clicking once on the next letter, which doesn't work. I don't know if it's confusing to anyone else, but I got pretty frustrated before I figured out what I was doing wrong.

We have done them all more than once. Our favorite is Germany, and I think after that it would be UK. Our least favorite is probably Mexico just because it is inside and it can feel crowded. The France one is good, but be aware that you do not always get the free pressed penny. For the agent P missions, there are multiple spots in each country and the mission does not take you to all of them-- that can be a good thing if you are doing the mission more than once as it changes it up, but it can also be a bad thing if you really want a certain spot (like the pressed penny- or in our experience a certain spot in Germany which I won't spoil the surprise of, but it is a family favorite). Just realize that once you do one, you will probably want to keep going at other countries. DD and DH love those missions.

Japan is totally adorable and fun. England has a great surprise as well. Love Agent P!

How do you get a pressed penny? We've played France several times and this is the first I've heard of it.

You just have to keep playing until you get "that" Mission.:)

It's the only way to get this Penny.

A CM even gives you the penny to put in the machine and it starts working without putting in the quarters!:)

The Penny is the one on the right. It has the special "code" used in the Mission on it.

We played Germany and Japan when we went. This time I think we will do France and UK.

We've done all but Germany, and our favorites are the UK and France...until the end of the night when my son wants to do 'just one more' and the rest of us are over it. Then Mexico wins because it usually ends up being short!

We love doing it and usually do a few countries in a row. In November our phone was glitchy and kept skipping back and getting stuck which was pretty frustrating but we still had a lot of fun. Other guests were fascinated when we activated some of the little sets etc. seems like a lot of people don't know it exists.

Ex- Agent here

There is no way to tell you which country is best, because there is no way to guarantee which mission you will get. 3 countries have freebies that you may or may not get. 1 is China where you may or may not get a fortune cookie, 1 is France where you may or may not get a pressed penny, and 1 is the UK where you may or may not get a free bag of tea.

For gags I like them all. I played every single mission and every single gag multiple times over. There is even a specialty CM only phone that lets them launch gags to check that everything is working. The year I worked the Food and Wine after party we took the CM phone around and just set gags off. It was a lot of fun when drunk tired runners would see Perry pop up out of no where.

How cute!

We are considering doing several of these missions. How long do each of them take?

I'd say they average between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on your pace, how many other people are playing and may be ahead of you at a given spot, and which mission you get.

What about the "Business card" in Norway or is Norway "down" during the construction? Thanks.:)

Oh I forgot about the business card! We never had to fill the buisness cards so I forgot all about it haha.

I'm not there any more but it would be a crappy mission unless the did a complete redo of the ending since it usually ended in the exit queue of the Malestrom and for some glorious days it ended at the water fall.

Roughly take 20-30 minutes hoever they can be less or longer. If you want to play but can't dedicate all the time you can have your phone reactivated and a new mission started by going to any Agent P cart where they will put in the secret code to restart the phone and will manually assign the country. Italy is traditionally the least crowded cart.

Mexico is good, because you can have a tasty margarita while doing the mission. Japan you can get a sake from the bar in the back of the department store. I want that penny! DS and I collect pressed pennies and haven't gotten that mission yet. We might have to both try France, especially since I haven't had the Grey Goose slush yet. I know we haven't done Norway, and I don't think we did China, but maybe we did. Germany is really cute, and there are good snacks and adult beverages nearby. As you can tell, Epcot for me is about drinking and eating. Agent P is a fun way to spend that time, especially with your children, who may not enjoy the drinking part as much:)

If you let it site idle too long, like maybe during a meal, it can go to sleep or drain the battery. We had to get a new one. Plus, it closes before the park and won't let you do another mission after a certain time, so be mindful of the time.

EDIT: Last trip, I was waiting in line to get our phone at UK, when a family that only spoke Spanish was asking about it. The poor CM didn't understand a word. They thought it was a Perry meet & greet. When I finally realized they were speaking Spanish and that I was understanding them, I tried to explain in my best (horrible) Spanish what the Agent P game was. Talk about hard:headache: They seemed to understand, and the family and CM were all grateful. DS speaks Spanish, but he was in the bathroom:rolleyes:
