Hey guys! Does anyone know at what age you get to join the Castaway Club? My husband and I are Gold members, but my 1 year old has never cruised before. After our upcoming cruise, does she become a Silver member?
No age limit. Once anyone, regardless of age, cruises on DCL, they are in the club, silver level.Hey guys! Does anyone know at what age you get to join the Castaway Club? The minimum age is 6 months I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Think you have to be at least 6 months to cruise with DCL.
That is a bummer!Somehow my one cruise as a minor got "forgotten" or something, which was a bummer. I recently had to call them to make sure I was getting credit for previous cruises, and that one was missing.
Lucky kids!!!Yep, our now adult children are Platinum from cruising with us while they were very young. Now they have their own families and love the fact they gets the Platinum perks.

It depends on the code fare that you sailed under. The cruise should show up in your past cruises, but it isn't one that counts towards the Castaway Club status. I suspect that if you win a cruise, or have a discounted rate not normally available (maybe cast special promotional or something) you won't have it count towards your status.I sailed on the Magic in its inaugural year as a CM. But I don't think they were keepting track at that time.We just made platinum after 3 years of sailing Disney and my kids are 13 and 15. lol

Call and talk to someone else. They have a record of who sailed and when, sounds like they were just too lazy to link it.I just noticed my son was missing a cruise credited while booking my December trip. His sister, my wife, and me all got credit. He is the oldest child, so it wasn't his age? He was like 7 at the time of sailing. So odd. I called and they won't do anything unless I can produce something that proves he was on it. Which, I'm not investing the time to try to find. He might get mad when his baby sister gets a higher level than him, but oh well! lol
I agree. It seems to me they would have the information that he was onboard for the Oceaneer's club maximums.Call and talk to someone else. They have a record of who sailed and when, sounds like they were just too lazy to link it.
