Age range of members

We just purchased this past January...I was 35 and DH was 37...I still feel like I am 6 years old when I do my count down to our next Disney adventure!!

I did this as a poll several years ago.

then I started with 20-30 ages - well I got about 3 posts from young adults (kids my opinion) who were 18 and have brought it.

so DVC definitely attracts much younger buyers than the other timeshares.

DH and I were both 31 when we bought in 2003. Purchased before we had any children (well, we closed in March 2003 and had our first child in Dec. 2003). Our 2nd child will be coming in Dec./Jan. 2008! We've never regretted buying in!

Disney members are age less, we bought in 2004 at 61 & 63 but feel 10 when we visit.

This thread is making me feel old! We were already middle aged by the time DVC started, so our kids were already grown and most out of the house by then. It doesn't make me enjoy DVC or WDW any less though. We can still be a "kid at heart" when we are at Disney.

We were both 43 when we bought in 2000. My parents were 71 and 72 when they also bought in 2000. They still go to WDW several times a year. They've done 3 cruise since they bought and are doing the Med cruise with us in July. We all love it!

My sister was 41 and her husband 58 when they joined in 2000,too. My brother was 41 and his wife 31 when they became members in 20004.

Remember the question; "When does life begin?" and the answer; "When the kids move out and the dog dies". Well, the 'kids' are 26 and 25 and are still home and the dog, well she's still kickin' too. We turned the page to a new chapter in our life when we purchased in Sept. 2006. We've since added to our home resort just this week. We're both 53. We're very much looking forward to and planning our many trips to the World in the years to come. DH and I have already been - just ourselves - in March. A family trip is planned for December.

Mid-30s here. Would have loved to do it during late 20s, but we don't finance anything but our house....so we had to wait until we could pay for it outright (particularly since it is a luxury item, we were not comfortable financing it. YMMV. )

Amen to that! My DH and I just bought last month, DH is 51 and I am 45. I will be going 'home' for the first time in September with my sister
