Age old question...OUAD parade stops!

Okay, I have read that to see the princess stop in OUAD we should stand near Bella Notte...looking on YouTube there are clips of a stop near the castle as well. Are there two (or more) and does the same thing happen each time?

Do the princesses just walk around and meet a few people...I thought I'd read that some children get picked to join in.

Any advice very welcome!

In Christmas season there are no stops in the OUAD parade, so it doesn't matter where you stand to watch it .

Really? Well I never knew that! Thank you! Glad I hadn't mentioned it to the DDs...mind you they don't even know we're going yet
