Does anyone know the minimum age/height to go on the Luna Pool slide? Also, does anyone the depth at the bottom and if you are able to where life preservers down the slide if you can't swim well. (or can an adult be waiting in the pool at the bottom?)Thanks!

I'm not sure there is an age/height requirement. Your child can go down in the life jacket. My barely swimming dd went down it many times last year and didn't need me at the end of the slide. I've had different lifeguards say different things about being at the bottom of the slide for your child. My best guess is that the pool is at about 4' at the bottom(?). You can get the life preservers at the Community Hall.

The thing for beginner swimmers to remember is to sit up a bit during the slide. Going down flat on your back you get quite a lot of water in your face around the last curve - and you can even end up twisted around for the end.

It's 3'6" at the bottom of the slide. My daughter used 'swimmies' when she was 4 and no one said anything. I always stand near the bottom of the slide when my kids come down, and have seen many parents do the same thing. The lifeguards will blow the whistle if other kids are near the bottom of the slide, but parents waiting for their kids are never told to move.

There are no restrictions - they can wear a life vest and you can wait at the bottom - but you can't do down with them

my DD 3 at the time in OCt. wanted to go down so bad but just couldn't bring herself to do i - maybe she will this year!
