How strict are the CM about the age of children using the Mickey slide? Do you think my almost 4 year old could get away with it? Thanks!

They weren't carding or anything at the top.

You may want to be aware that it two flights of stairs to the top of the Mickey slide. My four year old went up the first day, walked back down, and it took until our last day to convince her to give it a try. It was too high. Once she went, she loved it.

I walked her up the first time she successfully went down - not many parents making that walk either (although they will let you walk your little ones up).

My 4 year old did it no problem. I think it is more the height they are looking at. She came down one time and the CM at the bottom said she may be too short but I said she was not having a problem with it and she had been swimming since she was little. At the bottom of the slide be aware that there is a rush of water that gets them right in the face that I think some kids that are younger than 4 may not like. Have a ball. :earsgirl:

What is the age limit for the slide? I'm afraid my ds will be too old (he'll be 9) when we cruise. We've been looking at crusing since he was six, and he really still wants to go down at least once!

Hi. We were just on the 4/17 Magic. There was only a height requirement posted for the slide - minimum 38 inches, maximum 54 inches, if memory is correct. I didn't see an age restriction. Just that the kids had to be potty trained.

Oh No- is 9 too old? I am 35 and I love water slides- darn I am above 54" bummer- even my 7 year old may be too tall. He was 52" last we checked and we have 8 mos to go.

I'll have to measure my daughter. At 10, she's a tiny thing, about the same height as the first and second graders. Here's one time she'll be happy about being little.

Height seems to be the bigger issue..we went w/two girls, both age 10, but one was quite tall for her age....55inches. They let her go down once because she climbed all that way and pleaded her age, but that was it. She wasn't allowed any more.

I guess with me being 28 and 5'11" I'm out. :earseek:

I just checked the navigator for the wonder on the castawayclub.com site and the hieght requirement is 32"-64" and the age requirement is 4-14. So if your 24 under 64' and can pass for 14- GO FOR IT!!!!

woohoo! lol

im 16 and im 62 inches!..and I don't look 16...I'm going to have to try and pull that one off...

My DD is 18 months and 34 inches!!! But the non potty trained and her age will keep her off!

Hooray- both my big kids can use the slide!!!! I was really surprised that a 7 & 8 year old would be too big.

My son went on it aged 4, and enjoyed it, it was just a height restriction which he met ok, but at WDW didnt make all of the rides!
