Age Breakdown

Can someone breakdown kid's ages and how they end up being considered for me? What is a Disney "Adult" What age does a kid need to be to then get to be able to put them on the dining plan? What age does a kid start counting to be considered a person in a room? Ect?

For example I know I have booked our family of 5 in Wilderness Lodge in bunkbed rooms before but now I can't tell if my 3 yo is too old as our 3rd or if they are just full LOL.

Kids are 3-9. Under 3 is free. 3-9 is children's prices. 10 and up, adult prices. I would imagine being 3, your youngest is now considered a full person in lodging, as 2 and under can often just crash in a PNP.

Your 3-yr-old counts towards room occupancy and must have a ticket (and meal plan if that applies).

• Under 3 yrs old is considered an "infant" and does not require a ticket for park admission and 1 child in this age range is not counted towards occupancy for resort rooms (if you have multiple children under 3, only one is not counted); children in this age are not charged at buffet or all-you-can-eat meals and are not required to have the meal plan, one exception to "eats free" at a la cart is if you specifically order a separate child's meal rather than have him/her eat off your plate
• 3 - 9 yrs old is considered a "Disney junior" and this age qualifies for a child's ticket and child's meal plan, counts towards resort room occupancy
• 10 - 17 yrs old is often referred to as a "Disney adult" because they must have an adult ticket and adult meal plan; while counting towards occupancy at a resort, this age is not considered "adult" at the resort (see below)
• 18+ is an adult across the board -- adult ticket, adult meal plan, if more than 2 adults in most resort rooms there will be an extra charge

You can try the family suites at ASMu or AoA. They accommodate 6 and offer you an extra bathroom.
