AG Sale--Anyone go?

I asked this on Budget Board and no one answered so am hoping to get a response here...

Did anyone go to the recent American Girl "sale" in Madison recently? I'm dying to know what it's like. I'm on their email distro and would love to attend but find it hard to justify a plane ticket and hotel.

Tell me what I'm missing...

I didn't go, but my best friend has been going every year for years. She stocks up for Christmas and birthdays. She, literally, comes home with a car full of stuff. She says there are amazing deals.

I went. There were some good deals but not as good as in the past. The dolls were about 1/2 price except the twins which were $20. The doll clothes used to be $5 but they were selling for $12.I bought some cute backpacks for $5 for birthday gifts.The girl clothes were aroun $10 to $20. That's about all I can remember. I'm menopausal you know.
