Afternoon Tea

Depends on what you mean by regular park attire. When my DD's and I were there on Mother's Day there were ladies with people with capris and nice shirts on (I and my girls being in that group) and there were people dressed as if it was Easter Sunday. You will find different types of dress attire there.

I was wondering this too...we LOVE going to tea and when we're at home, usually really dress up. But since we are at WDW and will be doing a park prior to heading to tea, dresses & heels really aren't practical! Planning on capris and nice casual tops (no tank tops!). Glad to know we won't stick out like a sore thumb. Looking VERY forward to the tea!

My girls and I are dressing up (sundresses) for it, but we are going on a non-park day too.

Is regular parks attire normal at the afternoon tea at GF?

1) Yes, normal park attire is OK, but no muscle shirts, etc.
2) But, please dress up a little
. . . sun dresses
. . . clean Bermuda shorts
. . . etc
3) After all, it is more of an upscale event.

I love doing the Afternoon tea, the Grand tea is my favorite. Some people dress up, some women even wear hats, but, I've seen people in nice park clothes like nice blouses with bermuda shorts instead of t-shirts, men wear bermuda shorts with polo shirts. I would avoid wearing rubber flip-flops. I've seen people dress nicer for the tea than they do to eat at signature restaurants. It is a wonderful experience and you will love it!
