No, you don't need a CC for a reservation. DH and I loved doing this. It was so quiet and the food quite good but filling for something so small. We both did the Buckingham and it was a little bit of everything.

Thank you! I am going to call this afternoon, hopefully I could get something for our Aug trip.
DD is really into doing "tea parties" and I thought she would get a kick out of doing the real thing. I would do the princess one, but DD is allergic to Peanuts and from what I hear they serve PB n J and other pastries at the princess one and it is pretty expensive! I have read on allears they they are accommodating to peanut allergies at this specific tea.

I have done this and it is wonderful. I too have food allergies and I had informed them when I made the reservation and I also reminded them of it again when we checked in. They were fantastic about making sure I was accomadated. Also we had the Grand Tea and it really was Grand.
