Afternoon Tea at GF & MNSSHP

HI!!

My DH and I have reservations to go to Afternoon Tea in the Grand Floridian at 4:30 pm. We also plan to go to MNSSHP the same night...

We had planned to "dress up" for the halloween party. It would save a bunch of time and allow us to go straight from tea to the MK for the party without going back to our hotel and changing...

Do you think it would be okay for us to go to tea in our "costumes?" OR would we be given a bunch of strange looks?

EDIT: oops i forgot to mention we are dressing up as a 50's couple, complete with poodle skirt for me and chuck taylor all stars for him!

Considering that it's Disney, nothing is really "out of character". People know the Party is going on that night, and I truly believe everyone will think it's so cute and so great! You'll put smiles on a lot of faces i'm willing to bet!

My BF and I did this last Sept./06, for my B'day. We had an earlier tea time, about 2:30pm, and we were there at the GF tea till about 4:30 pm. We then went over to the MK and did the MNSSHP. It was so wonderfull! We did not have on costumes, but there were several others having tea that did. I loved it! One of the best times I have ever had at WDW!

I had tea before MNSSHP in '03. I didn't see anyone there in costume, but give that your costume is what is is, I'm sure you would be fine.
