Hey guys,

I finally made my ADRs for our trip in September. All went well, got a weird time at Le Cellier but that is given since they were almost booked up (4:30 pm), didn't wanna miss Illuminations.

Anyway, after I made one for the Afternoon Tea, the CM advised me that it isn't part of the dining package...

Maybe this has been posted/discussed before, but I just thought I would advise. :sunny: We are going to cancel it for now... maybe just go over for some cake OOP or whatever.

I don't think you should cancel afternoon tea, especially if it was something you were really looking forward to.

My hubby and I have made it into a WDW tradition and it's a lovely experience with very tasty food. They have several options to choose from that should fit into almost any budget - we always treat this as a late lunch and it's so filling that it keeps us going for the rest of the day.

Just my opinion... but it's such a unique dining option and can be very romantic, I hate to think that you wouldn't go just because it's not on the dining plan.

I hope you have the chance to give it a try! :goodvibes

No, don't cancel. It is a very nice experience. We always get the Buckingham and it costs about $17. It is a very filling service with tea, sandwiches, scones and pastries or strawberries/cream. If you planned on eating cake at the tea service, you might not get in without an ADR. Keep your ADR and then get what you want. You may also just purchase tea and a single item to eat.

Don't cancel, it is really a lovely experience. I'm even thinking of sneaking a solo tea this trip.
