I was just wondering how many people, who use strollers, pull out their stroller cover when they go into an attraction?

I was just thinking I would hate to come out of an attraction one afternoon to find that a passing storm hit and the double stroller is now soaked. On our last trip this never happened, but I think I just have to find something to worry about now that I'm done with all the planning for the trip:rolleyes:

I just don't want to look crazy doing it.

Thanks

If the skies look really threatening we try to park the stroller under cover or we put a poncho over it. :D

If it looks threatening we cover ours.

I never thought about it before. I don't have a stroller cover but I will bring a poncho to cover it just in case.

Thanks for the tip

Florida thunderstorms can roll in in a matter of minutes. The presentations at FW in Epcot are an especially risky place to leave an uncovered stroller; you can easily be away from it for over an hour at a time.

I always "suited up" the stroller when we first arrived at our resort, and left it on for the duration of the trip. I took out the cover, put it on, then pleated it back up over the hood and clipped it there with a couple of binder clips, smoothing down the excess at the sides. Then, anytime I knew I was going to be leaving it somewhere where I would not be in a position to get back to cover it if it started raining, I just opened the clips and pulled the cover out and over the stroller seat. If it is already on and draped, this only takes about 10 seconds.

We are in rainy season now. I would cover it in the afternoons whether it looks like it might rain or not. NotUrsula said that they can come up in a minute and they are correct. We sometimes can watch the storms coming up on us and then just stopping feet from where we are standing.

I would use a stroller cover, not your ponchos. We had our ponchos stollen that were covering our stroller while we had lunch and when we came out it was absolutely soaked! Not too happy about that. Some people used non-Disney judgement! ;)

I go to the dollar store and purchase a shower curtain liner and some binder clips its perfect to cover your entire stroller and cheap!

Thanks for the tips. I think I will just cover just to be on the safe side. I think I will follow NotUrsula's tip because we alaready have the double stroller cover.

Thanks again for all the tips.

I was actually just wondering about strategy on this today. Has anyone had their stroller cover stolen? We are going next weel and it calls for rain every day. Being a floridian I know they come in fast and I think I will leave my cover on but I was wondering whether you guys think someone might take it?

We have one of the nice fitted double stroller rain covers and no one has ever touched it. We use it 8 - 10 days per trip with no problems. I also like to put my park map on the canopy under the clear rain cover. It is always handy and easy to reference.
