Afternoon-off plans

Long time watcher, first time writer. My family and I will be going this summer and following easywdw's morning tour plans (not opening for debate, just stating). Since we feel good with the attractions we will hit and will have the afternoons mostly off, where should we go?

One family member wanted to go look around at resorts. One wanted to go back to the resort and take a nap (or take one in a slow dark ride). I've also heard downtown disney. Where do YOU go when you have some "down time" at disney?

We are usually so tired that we just hang out at our resort. if its summer we usually go swimming and chill by the pool.
But if you have never seen the other resorts many are really pretty. Downtown Disney is worth a visit but not something I consider downtime, still lots of walking.

I love going to Downtown Disney when I have downtime. There's a lot of dining and shopping- it's pretty fun.

Downtown Disney; Swimming and chilling by the pool; exploring your resort; exploring other resorts; taking a nice leisurely lunch....so many options Where are you staying?

How many days will you be there? You can certainly do all those things in your downtime, just on different days.

I vote nap or pool at your resort. Or you could split up - and some people could nap while others tour resorts.

We love to check out other resorts. We also enjoy the pool and just chilling in the room. We also use the arcade.

All of those sounds great. Thank you for the suggestions! We are planning to be there a total of 7 days (first day touring around, 5 morning parks and the leaving day). Splitting those up would be amazing. Any must-see spots that we should keep an eye for at any resorts or must-visit resorts?

We'll be staying at Pop Century. Dedicated bus service, price and great food court menu are major plusses in my book
