Afternoon flight arrival and park reservations

We have an afternoon flight arrival and we were hoping to go to walk to Epcot after dropping off our luggage. Wonder how late arrivals will work with park reservations? I thought I read they would give us an arrival time to the park.
This is really going to reck havoc on plans I fear.

you may have to adapt to the current situation and maaaybe not go to the parks on your arrival day

I haven't heard any official word that you are given an arrival time. So far we just know a reservation will be required to get in. I don't think there is anything to say YET that you can't arrive later in the day. I eagerly await more clarity to determine if I will bring my family in August or if we will be delaying a 3rd time

Depends on how much capacity they eventually decide on. imo I would figure on no parks for arrival or departure days.
