Hi again everyone.
I've got another question!! We are having an intimate wedding with 2 guests and I and h2b would like to dine with while still wearing my wedding dress and him in his tails.
If anyone can give us some ideas as to where we can go, altough I have read that you can wear the wedding dress at ohanas, but if anyone has other ideas, we would prefer a nice meal than to go on a cruise.
I really appreciate anyones help, Thanks!!!!!!;)

What kind of food/atmosphere are you looking for? Personally, I'd feel funny at Ohana's because its so casual and I'd be worried about getting my dress dirty with those super sticky chicken wings!

Any of Disney's signature restaurants, almost all of which are in the hotels, would be nice options I think. Yatchsman is wonderful for steaks, California Grill offers you a view of Wishes if you get a seating time that coincides with the fireworks, Jiko offers the beautiful atmosphere of AKL, etc..

I'm sure you'll be able to find something that's perfect for you and your guests!

 I can understand what curiouser is saying-- O'hanas isnt the 'wedding' type place...

But I say what they hay!! You only live once (and hopefully only get married once).... so get that dress buttered up in wing sauce!! Make a memory out of it!! DH and I arent prim and proper people--- we know our manners but-- having fun is just so totally us-- even on our wedding day. Heck right after the wedding we threw our clothes off-- put on our personalized T-shirts and headed out for some theme park fun- and then went to eat at O'hanas.... lol. Seriously I couldnt have gotten out of that dress quick enough (it literally weighed like half my weight!).

O'hanas is good if you are into fun (its not real cheesy like you might think-- a lot of brides go there-- tons of fun!!).

GL with your planning:woohoo: :thumbsup2

I did Yachtmans Steakhouse @ YC in full wedding attire....was fun & we got lots of attention
Even had a little girl come up to me cause she thought I was cinderella

Great food BTW!!

Good Luck

we don't have any guests. me and my DF are going to eat at 1900 Park Fare. We aren't really fancy eaters to begin with and I thought that this would be really fun for us. I'll stay in my dress. Everyone tells me to try to stay in your dress as long as possible. That's what i'm planning to do. After dinner we are going to go to Magic Kingdom to watch spectromagic and wishes so i will have to change then.

My first thought is V & A's....What about private dining on the GF1? They can prepare anything you want and you could watch Wishes!

I'm doing dinner at V&A for after my intimate wedding.

I have seen people do Citrico's, Narcossee's and Yachtsman in the past for having a really nice meal.

Have any intimates done Spoodles after? I have never been there and am curious as to what the atmosphere is like, would this be a good after wedding dining option, etc?

Spoodles is one of my favorite restaurants...their rigatoni is to die for. I'm not sure however that it would be a good place to go for after the weding though. The atmosphere is a little loud and it's not really formal. It all depends on what you're looking for. If it is anyone's birthday in the room, they all bang on pots and pans (the kitchen is viewable by the dining room)...it could get annoying.

Good luck with your dinner choosing!!

thanks for the input on the atmosphere! :) we'll def have to check it out sometime during our stay. I was looking at the menu last night and it looked DE-lish

I have been looking at Ohana's and Narcoosee's to eat after my intimate and was just wondering if anybody could give any input or opinions about which I should choose. I plan to stay in my dress. Do many people go to Ohana's for after intimates?

Well, we are planning on a character meal LOL

It will just be myself, DF and our 16 year old dd. We LOVE going to character meals in WDW. So, we are debating either Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Faire. Yep, I'm wearing my wedding dress. I think it will be fun!

I think I would go with Victoria and Albert's or the Yachtman. Just something a little more than I would do on the average trip (although, honestly, we do have one REALLY nice meal each trip...but that is normally California Grill).

Ohana's is to casual for dinner....you will find most people in there will be in shorts. I have never seen a bride at O'hana's and I think you would be a bit uncomfortable.

We went to the Yachtsman after our ceremony/cake cutting and had a really good time. We stayed in our wedding attire, and did not feel out of place at all. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was upscale without feeling too "stuffy". We had our rehersal dinner at Ohana's, and it's a great place, but it is very informal and casual...but if you are looking for fun, that is the place to go! Hula dances, kids dancing in the aisle, not the quietest, most romantic place-but it is lots of fun. The chicken wings are great-but I agree with the previous poster, they're pretty sticky! :) good luck choosing!
