As a 5 yar AP holder at WDW I can say the DL was in no way a disappointment to us (we went each of the last two summers). It is different to be sure and much smaller, but if you go with the sense of excitement and not expectation, it'll be great.
I disagree with an earlier poster who commented that WDW DTD was better. I absolutely will not go to DTD at WDW and we loved the compact size and ease of strolling DTD at DL.
