After our cruise our flight doesn't leave until 2:30 pm. Does anyone know what we can do until then?

Not much really other than a nice lunch at the airport. Most airlines want you there 2 hours before the flight, so that's only going to give you about 2 hours free.

Thanks for the info. I guess we're going to have a long two hours of people watching in the airport.

I don't know if you have ever flown into MCO before, but if not you will be surprised at how many shops there are in there.
It will be easy to "waste" a few hours while there. A nice lunch and a bit of shopping, and the time will fly by.

I've been to MCO before but didn't have time to really check it out. I guess I will now. Hope I have enough money left over to do some shopping. LOL

Be the "last" person off the cruise ship, leisurely get your bags and go thru customs - this should put you at 10:00 at the latest. By the time you board your DCL bus transport and go through security at the airport, you are probably looking at 11:30 to 11:45. Eat a nice lunch and then visit a couple of shops - Voila, time to go to your gate and get ready to board. You really don't need to be rushed for anything - Sort of nice in a way. - Mike.

Eat a nice lunch
At the airport??? After a cruise:confused:   How can you have a "nice" lunch at an airport:confused:

Unfortunately that's about all you have time for with a 2:30 flight. If you had a 4:30 flight, I would get a rental car and go to Downtown Disney for the "day" and ease yourself back into reality!! And you can have a nice lunch there.:D

We sailed with a different line (Fantasy out of Port Canaveral) this past Feb. and our return flight from MCO wasn't until 4:45 pm. It was either 11:30 am or the later one. We hung out and did some shopping (souveneirs for the kids back home), people watched, had lunch, read some magazines. It was ok. It made for a long day since we didn't get back home to NH until late that evening, but it was better than being stressed about catching a flight.

jrabbit - I agree - A "nice" lunch is hard to do at the airport after leaving the cruise. But there is a Chili's there where you can get decent food and a beer (if you so desire) and kick back for an hour and relax. Exactly what we did last time and probably what we are going to do this time. - Mike

I thought we all had to be off the ship at the same time. To be the last one off what time would that be?

Isn't there a Chilis at MCO? You can get your baby back baby back riiiiiiiibs. :)

bbq sauce.

Last person off the ship is normally at 9:00 AM from what I understand. - Mike

Mike,
That sounds like a good idea. We won't have to rush getting off.
Thanks :D
