He kind of goes back and fourth. He's more in allegiance to people rather than "the good guys" or "the bad guys." Sometimes he's good, sometimes he's bad, but most of the time, he's good. That's my opinion, anyway.

I guess whatever side doesn't kill him. Sure, Jack killed him in CotBP, but he came back and they were gonna kill ALL the pirates in AWE.

I have no idea, he is bad in the first, then good in the second at the end, and good in the third, until he leaves Jack behind..hmm
