After resale closing, how long till booking?

Hi. My resale purchase closed on 12/28/10. My title agent said 7-10 business days until the points show up at Disney. Today is the 8th business day, so I called ms to check, and the lady told me it could be up to a month from closing. I need to book right away for a short notice trip and am getting very concerned. Any input in how long itnshould take for these points to be available?
Btw, I bought uy august 200 points sir with 400 points immediately available not including 2011 points. I paid $63/point cash

We closed on our 4th resale contract in August, and it took over a week before our points were in Disney's system. Our agent told us that things were taking longer on Disney's end then - I am not sure what is happening now. With my other 3 resale contracts, I made reservations less than a week after closing.

If this is a new membership it can take a little longer. Adding a new resale contract to a existing membership is processed by two different Disney people. A new membership is processed by three.

We closed in November and it took exactly 7 business days to go from closing to points in the system. I was able to book a reservation that day. Was fairly simple process. I suppose like anything else, how many are being processed at a given time and vacations etc. can all impact the process. Overall, process went well and was timely.

We were also in the system within a week but this was in 2009. I do think that you should be in there any day now. Keep calling although I have been told that the departments that do it are not there on the weekends.

We're also anxious. We closed 3 days ago, and they told us it could take up to 10 days. Am I correct that the points will show up on the members' website, letting us know that they're available to us? Or should I call every day?

Ok, today the points were available. We were very very fortunate to get most of what we wanted. We really wanted akl, but we needed a two bedroom and a studio.nwe got it for the first five nights of our weeklong trip...then we will move to ssr. I could have wait listed, butnwas afraid one room would come through and one wouldn't. Besides, this way, I get to see two resorts I have never stayed at before. Happy to be members!
I wonder, though, I don't have my one time code for logging In on the website. Also, I got my welcome book with points charts, etc, but didn't get my member card. Should I have that card when I go to the world in march?
