I just got an invitation in the mail to an annual passholders after hours WWOHP event. Sounds cool. Anybody RSVP'd this yet.Just wish I could go. Anyways, it's really cool they are at least doing something to mark the release of Deathly Hallows.

I know, I told my DH that I want to go down to Florida now for the movie because of that Maybe for the next movie I will be sure to have my AP ready and a trip to Florida prepared if they do it again .

Is that what it is? I didn't get anything in the mail but I logged in yesterday to the passholder site and couldn't find anywhere to sign up. I emailed passholder services to ask where I could sign up. Maybe they will open a second date since it was so popular?

I didn't get anything in the mail either, but someone on here did post the link last week. I'm confirmed to go as well. They'll probably have another one when part 2 premieres. If they do, I hope they include power pass holders so DH can have a chance to go as well.

Well, I got a response that it is full. I never got anything in the mail. Oh well.. glad I bought that $300 pass and they can't even send me an email to sign up before it is full.

I got the postcard yesterday too and SOOOO wish I could go, but I'm about 1,200 miles away without any more vacation time this year.

Just got home and my postcard was in the mail box. Fat load of good it does. I emailed Universal that I hope these things will go out by email in the future to give everyone a fair opportunity.

I'm not happy with Uni for the first time since buying my pass...

It seems like some people got the flier regarding the event like a good week after some people got it. I got it last week and signed up right away. I'm still not 100% sure that I'm going, but I will decide as the date gets closer...

Is there anything special happening for this? Unless there is free food or souvenirs I don't see any point in going. As far as I know there is no free food and the souvenirs are for sale.

If I remember correctly, we get a Hogwarts poster or something like that.

It just really stinks to not even get an invitation until AFTER the event is full. People out of state got theirs faster than I did and I drive by the park on my way to the office every day!!!

If I just wanted to go to the park I have enough friends that work there to get in for free. I paid $300 for things like this. I'm just really not impressed with the way this was handled...

Ok- I'm done being negative. I'm not good at it. I'm really happy for the people that were able to RSVP and I hope they will post something about the event here for us muggles.

Smaller yes but it's still going to be very crowded. Universal has MANY passholders within a couple of hours who will probably make the trip.

I also got the postcard yesterday and immediately tried to confirm. Same result as everyone else, it was full. I am very upset, and have already complained to guest services. I feel sorry for those guest service people. They are really going to get hit with a lot of complaints.

I also wonder how many people like XApril signed up, are not sure they are going, and took a spot from someone who would attend. (Nothing personal, XApril. Just assuming a certain percentage won't show, which sucks for those of us who could not get in)

They told me that not every passholder has an e-mail, so they thought the mailer was more fair. I don't see how getting something in the mail a week later than everyone else is fair- and I live an hour away.

The passholder address should be on the invitation somewhere. Check the side of the card where your address is.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I spoke with a Supervisor at Universal Guest Services, and was trying to get one of my family members signed up who was out of town when we got the notice last week. They can't make an exception for one person, so now our whole family doesn't get to go. Pretty sad.

Anyway, he said that there's an identical event planned for December 16th but the registration hasn't opened yet. He said our best bet was to cancel the registration for the 20th, and go Dec 16th. They're not going to be authorizing anyone else to be able to go for the 20th, so not sure why I would cancel. ?

Of course. I am leaving on the 16th to go home for an early Christmas. Plus it's a weeknight, so even if I was here, its hard to do something like that and then drive home, and then work the next day. Bummer.

Thanks for the update. I knew when I saw the invite it would be filling up quickly. I'm glad I got mine quickly and was able to RSVP. Does your whole family have APs?
