After hours WWOHP event.

If the only thing special happening vs going any other time is a poster giveaway then Universal should just print a bunch of extra posters. Allow passholders who can't come due to whatever reason..b/c it's full or otherwise..to register for one and pick it up later.

Thanks for the update. I knew when I saw the invite it would be filling up quickly. I'm glad I got mine quickly and was able to RSVP. Does your whole family have APs?

Yes we all have Premier Passes. The rest of my family and I signed up as soon as the flier came since we knew it would fill up. My sister has been out of town and when she got back to sign up, it was full. It's a little upsetting since we were psyched about going, but I guess we'll just have to sign up as soon as we can for the Dec 16th one. The supervisor didn't indicate when sign up would begin for that one.

Anyway, you know there's going to be people that signed up that don't show up, so I would expect them to make some concessions for special circumstances. I guess if they do that for one, they have to do it for all.

I know this is a stupid question, but I shouldn't have a problem if I bring my toddler daughter, right? Reason why I'm asking is because I had this crazy dream last night and they wouldn't check me in because I had her with me. In my dream I remember arguing with the TM that she doesn't even need to pay to get into the park, so how would she be considered as a non allowable guest! Now that dream has me worried...

ETA: I wonder what is there cap in rsvp's...

I expect the crowd will be huge...which is why there's a limit on people. Remember...Universal has LOTS of passholders in this area.

About your daughter...she would be considered a guest and the invite clearly says "no guests." If you take her, you will probably be turned away.

hmmm.. That's no good.. I guess I'll contact them to make sure..

That's the thing, I don't consider dd to be a guest since she doesn't need to pay for admission.
Anyways, I just spoke to an AP representative and she even verified. She said dd will be able to get in with no problem since she's already free to get into the park. :thumbsup2

Someone on the Uni Facebook page said the registration link was posted on Leaky Cauldron shortly after the early people got it, so I suspect that's what filled it up. We decided not to go because AP events are notoriously crowded and disorganized. We do better visiting WWoHP at non-peak times.

I consider a guest someone you bring with you. If you are invited to a party by a friend and you don't pay, are you considered a guest? It doesn't matter if that person has to pay or not...that's my definition of a guest but I hope it works out for you. Just don't be surprised if you run into problems. As we all know Universal is notorious for not sharing information with their TMs. I really hope you don't have any issues.

In certain situations, I just don't count infants and toddlers as guest. I don't think I'll have any problems, but I will be surprised if they do turn away every person that comes with an infant or toddler. When the time comes for check in, I guess I will see.

To this day, I still haven't received the flyer in the mail. I'm assuming its because we activated our passes near the end of Oct. :confused3

We didnt either, and we have had our passes since March

Quick - go check your email! I just got my invite for the 16th and was able to RSVP.

I kind of wanted to hear how the first one went before deciding on this one. I'm not sure if this will really be worth it. I can ride these during normal park hours and I don't think it will be any less crowded than during the day, so I'm leaning towards passing.

Well, I'm definitely going to the first one since the second falls on a day where I've got school the next day.

Better to RSVP then figure out if you can go or not. We learned that the hard way last time....
