After Hours Return at Dolphin Hotel

Anyone used the after hours car return at Dolphin Hotel? The Alamo website says to place the keys in the return drop box. But from what I’m reading on the DISboards, I think you return the car to the valet after hours and he will give you a receipt stating the time you returned it. Which is correct?

My main concern is how Alamo will know that I returned the car on time; I don’t want to be charged extra.

What you have read here is correct: give the car keys to the valet, and he will give you a receipt. Make sure you fill the gas tank before returning it. I usually do so at the Hess station across from the Boardwalk.

We always return the car to the valet late at night. They need the keys to park the car because you're returning the car in the driveway at the front of the resort. They will give you a receipt with the return time on it.
