After Deed posts what's next??

Okay, so my deed is showing up online for the resale contract that I bought. Is there anything else that my broker needs to do or is the transaction complete at this point and I'm just waiting for the paperwork from Disney??

The transaction is closed. You can wait for Disney to mail you the welcome packet with account info to access your account online. Or you can call member admin to get it earlier. We closed 2 weeks ago and still haven't received our packet, but we don't have any bookings planned so I'm not in a hurry to call.

We closed on the 25th of July (deed recorded the next day I believe) and our membership hit Disney’s system on 8/3. I didn’t push for the membership number because I don’t have anything to book with those points until Feb. I am just going to wait for the mail and crossing my fingers my guide can find some add-on points in the very near future.

Now you just wait for the points to be loaded into your account, your membership number and ID number to set up your online account.
Usually takes about 2 weeks. Some have had success calling member admin, but don't doit unless you need your number to book something right away.

Nah, I don't need it. Was just wondering what happens next. I asked my broker and she said if I don't have a letter in the next 3 weeks to let her know and she can help me from there. I figure everything has been right on track so far so I will just way. I'm not planning another vacation until May of next year so it's all good.

I don't have anything in the upcoming future to need a membership number. I just feel better knowing that it's in their system. I know I'm incredibly impatient. I know that I'm in the home stretch right now. LOL!! I'm about a week or so behind you so I should hear something shortly after you do. LOL!!
