Yes,

I know I know .. all I can do is call Disney and hope.

I am supposed to arrive to Disneyland this Thursday and stay through Tuesday with my trip including pride night.

I have managed to tweak my back and if I can't get it back to good I may consider delaying my trip a few weeks. The only piece of my trip that would be non refundable is that pride night ticket...

Any advice?

I don't know what to do with the Pride ticket but I'm really sorry that you aren't feeling well.

I'm so sorry you hurt your back! I hope it heals quickly and you'll still be able to go.

Unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to get a refund. I had to cancel Star Wars nite a couple of years ago when my son needed an emergency appendectomy and I called to ask but they said they're not refundable under any circumstances.

BUT...It never hurts to try. Maybe a different CM would give you a different answer.

Last year I ended up with an extra OBB ticket and I gifted to someone here on the board. You can call, but I would guess there is no refund.

I’m so sorry you’re hurt and at the worst possible time!

If they say no ask if you can you apply the value to a ticket in the future. I know that Disney World does that with their party tickets, if you don't use it the ticket retains the value and can be used towards another one in the future.
Yes.

At WDW, if you end up not using an after hours or MK party ticket, the credit can be used on a 1 to 1 basis (one ticket credit price toward one new ticket). It’s heavily advised to keep record where purchased and any transaction/ticket/confirmation numbers, because it will no longer show in your Disney account after expired. Helping CMs find it in their system may be necessary. But it will still exist after date passes if it was unused.

Good luck with refund. Hopefully you can at least retain the credit.

Yes - they may not issue a refund but will likely be far more amenable to applying hte cost to another event ticket or even just park tickets in general. They do try to be pretty accommodating for the most part.

Unfortunately I saw back doctor today and it's going to take a bit to get me back in shape. I am probably delaying my trip to July. I am sad. I was looking forward to pride nite a lot.
I'm so sorry, katyringo. I know how much you've been looking forward to this trip.

You can try donating your ticket to Make A Wish or CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County). People have posted in years past that they received a tax receipt for their ticket donations.

Yes, so sorry😢...you have been looking forward to this trip so much! Here's hoping you can get to a good chiro and get it straightened out but I also get that you're probably hesitant to do anything that would risk further damage. Best to you...And again sorry you will miss Pride Night.

Thanks everyone. Already re-booked for end of July which was my doctors recommendation to give PT time to work. The plus being I will see the new Walt animatronic. No dice on the pride night ticket. Disney sticking to their terms. Which I get... kinda. That is really my biggest bummer. I will try to go next year. It's not sold out - hopefully they continue to offer it.

I also inquired with them about adding a 5th day to my 4day 70th anniversary ticket and to do that they convert the ticket to a standard and you pay the difference- it's actually cheaper to just buy a 1 day ticket. I'm going to stick with my 4 days, but they will be full days and no travel in/out on park days.
