have any of the stores begun their markdowns yet? looking to stock up for next Dec ACS/BSAtroop 555 breakfast with Santa Chinese auction. It takes all year for me to get ready but so worth it. SO I need to save the money.

Target has already started their toy markdown. In my area things are 30% off.

If you are doing this event with the boys please reconsider calling it Chinese Christmas. That is a very inappropriate name considering the point of the activity is to "steal" the best present from others and hurtful to those who are Chinese or are looking to adopt a Chinese child as my family is.

I don't think the OP meant it as a racial slur or offense to any family trying to adopt internationally...but perhaps renaming it something else might also draw in more crowds to your Santa Breakfast Auction.

Walmart has play food sets marked down to 5 dollars as well as lego sets, trucks, ect...
