I figured I would start a thread where we can share what % Off the stores are at for their after Christmas (wrapping paper, bows, lights, decor, etc.) and gift items (gift sets, stocking stuffers, etc.)

Today I went to these stores in New Jersey:

Christmas tree shops - 50%
Big lots - 50%
Ollie's - 70%
Kmart - 50%
Boscovs - 50%
Family dollar - 50%
Micheals craft store - 60% - 80%
Bath and body works - 50% - 75% ( semi annual sale)

I am waiting to find out when Khols and target go to 75% off their gift items.

Target here was disappointing. 30% off food items and 50% off decorations and wrapping. I was looking specifically for white Christmas lights and they were all gone.

Macy's was probably my best deal today with 75% off sweaters.

Went to Target today -- 50% off Christmas, 30% off holiday food stuff.

I went to a large Hallmark store in MA and only select holiday items were on clearance. I got a Christmas gift bag and some tissue paper and some little holiday themed packs of tea and coffee on 50% clearance. Other gift sets of Stonewall kitchen items were still full price.

Just got the Target ad in the mail and it states that clearance toys are at 50% Off right now.

I shopped Macys.com this morning and was able to get more of my Christmas china pattern for a few of the pieces I was missing. I am crap at math but they were:

Dinner plates: $42 each, marked down to $13.99 each, plus 15% off, plus free shipping.

So they were free, right? :lmao:

CVS and Walmart were boxing up all their candy and gift sets so no sale on that stuff. Gift wrap, tags, bows, decorations etc. were 50% off that stuff at both places.

Target had 25% off christmas lights last week, i wanted more white and they were all gone then.

I went to Lord and Taylor today. They had xmas 75% off and lots of clearance racks with 40% off. I used a 20 off 40 coupon, so for $22 I got PJ pants, a bra, and two ornaments. :cool1:

Banana Republic was doing 50% off sale so i picked up three tops, i might return one, the lines were so long i didn't have time to wait to try on.

all i really want/need from the sale at target is some more giftwrap. im going saturday and i hope they aren't wiped out. i need tissue paper which seems to stick around.

My Walmart was 50% off yesterday, but.....

They had Duck Dynasty shirt in juniors sizes for $1 each! As well as exercise shorts.

I picked up 1 shirt and the only pair of shorts in my size for only $2. Thank you for the new exercise gear Walmart!!

I also bought 4 plastic serving trays and 2 packs of Duck Dynasty nail files (the thicker ones with foam in between the layers) for DS to use with his new guitar pick maker to file the edges of the picks.

I made sure I didn't buy a lot - we don't have the space to store it!!

I went to Target, got some lights, 2 of my strands for the tree stopped working- AFTER i put them up. :headache:

That's funny; tissue paper is the one thing my Target didn't have anywhere. I got some cheap shirt boxes but this the first time I ever remember not finding tissue paper, too. Maybe it's just my Target, though.

I was just browsing with a friend at target today but they had a whole table of their stocking stuffers listed at 50% that rang up as no discount so make sure you are checking everyone!

back from target..... and i got tissue paper! i had to hunt but they had one box of white left. i found some colored tissue paper randomly, but this kind was in a plastic bag and those were only like .30 each. i also found more in the stationary section, again in plastic bags. so i will do what i normally do which is mix white with colored for bday gifts during the year.

i found threshhold potholder and towel sets in the kitchen section, no sale sign, and they rang up 70% off! i got two of each since my kitchen has red/green anyway :goodvibes i got giftbags and a few stocking stuffers 50% off. some of the dolllar spot stuff and stocking stuffers were 70% off. look for the tags with multi-coloured font (i got these tree wood puzzles, a metallic coin purse, heart shaped cookie cutters).

food was still showing 30% off and as always random christmas stuff like cards and boxed sets were not on sale even though they are left in the holiday section.

I was at Walmart today and everything was 50% off even holiday food. I was disappointed in what they had, I didn't see any wrapping paper, tissue or bows. I'd of thought it would've been with the rest of the Christmas stuff but it wasn't. I checked over by the cards and not there either. Oh and no Christmas paper plates and napkins either. That is what I usually buy after Christmas for the next.
