I thrive in 100 deg + temperatures, when we arrive at the Fort it's 105 so I'm very happy. We all enjoy touring the fort and the kids love the toy cannons for sale in the gift shop. Just as we were about to leave we find out they are going to fire the cannon so we hike back up and watch. It's a sight to see for everyone especially the kids who now know what to do with the toy cannons. Gotta have respect for those guys wearing wool coats in 100 deg temps.
After a stop to eat and a drenching rain, we proceded down the coast for a nice scenic drive. We finally arrived in orlando and stopped at DtD for a few minutes to get mine and my son's PAP's. It's a great feeling to have that PAP in your hands and know that you can go anywhere you want to and not feel guilty about using up your hopper days. I gave our hopper passes to my sister and her son with 2 park days and a couple water park days so they could save money.
Next stop was our house; I got a great deal on a 5 bedroom 4 bath house with heated pool only 5 or so minutes from disney. I believe it was Rolling Hills area. It was a very nice house; I picked the Mickey bedroom for me and my son..which he loved and the kids instantly took to the pool.
Finally drug the kids out of the pool about 11:30pm and put them in bed while reminding everyone that we needed to be up early Monday morning so we could hit Blizzard Beach before the crowds.
