Really having a hard time deciding between the following aft rooms, all currently available, for an upcoming sailing on the Dream! We typically spend a lot of time on our verandah so having a larger one seems like a wonderful option.

10664
8188
7194

They all seem to have +/- so I’m just looking for feedback from anyone with experience with any of these staterooms!

Not sure if you have ever sailed Aft before, but yes the extended verandah is super great. We love the expanded views since there is very little obstruction overhead. You can truly see all around both day and night. When moving, there is a chance you will get a smell of "fuel/exhaust" but to me, it was minimal and not constant. We have had all the rooms in the back and prioritize for the 4E category (on the Fantasy). On deck 10, you might hear the occasional movement of chairs on the Cabanas deck but not a big deal. The Aft of the ship tends to be quieter too from foot traffic. A couple of times we were GTY for 4E and even got the corner handicap rooms... which was mind blowing for the verandah. Any other questions/concerns I can certainly try and give my opinion...?

We sailed twice in 10658 on the dream in august and in 7192 on the fantasy in October. We decided we didn’t like deck 10 aft, even though we had a huge balcony in 10658. We were under cabanas and some mornings they started moving chairs and tables around at 4:00.

We liked 7192, but it did vibrate on the fantasy when sailing at top speed. We quickly got used to the vibrations and ended up loving that cabin. It would be perfect on the dream since it never really sails that fast.

We’ve had several aft on Fantasy and Dream. We loved 10166 which is next to 664. If you can get 166, it’s worth it. We had 9670 on GTY. It was awesome! We also had the stateroom with the flag pole. I loved hearing it whip around while in port. Can’t remember the stateroom number off the top of my head. Enjoy!

Edited to add… no airflow. It will be hot.

It does look like 10166 is available now! It hadn’t been before today. I will definitely consider it!

This is definitely a love or not love room. We were on 10 and heard the chairs being moved around late at night, but I believe it was the pirate buffet (which isn’t happening anymore). The vibrations and soot are issues you have to live with. But we still enjoy this location. We usually have to put a folded paper/flyer in the closet door because the door vibration does get annoying.

We have been in 7194 and I remember vibration. If that doesn't bother you then go for it. It annoyed
my husband but I got quickly use to it.

Our family rescheduled our January 2022 SWDaS on the Fantasy to January 2023 for the same cruise and went with an aft room (9176) and very much looking forward to it. Good to see a nice conversation here about it. Really looking forward to it. Good luck! I will be anxious to hear what you think.
