I suspect we will soon see more Disney classics "unvaulted" at a faster rate.
The reason being is that Blu-ray is the new "big thing" (and, to date, the only Disney "classics" to get the BR treatment are Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, and the upcoming re-release of Snow White).
For now, it seems to be Disney policy to release the Blu-ray (with accompanying DVD), first -- then about 6 weeks later, the DVD will hit the store shelves.
For the record, of all the major studios doing Blu-ray, Disney does it best!
